EK’s Xtreme Paintball facility where guests can experience speed and adrenalin in this ‘war-simulation’ sport. It is a combination of speed ball-field scenario game play with an air-powered paintball gun that fires non-toxic, water-soluble paintballs below 280 feet per second. Xtreme Paintball, which is near the Rio Grande water ride, can be played by two teams of five to 10 players each. Paintball is an exciting game of Tag and Hide and Seek all rolled into one. There are many variations of the game, where two teams attempt to cross terrain, capture their opponents flag, and return it to the flag station without being marked by a paint pellet. Each player is armed with a C02 marker that shoots soft gelatin balls the size of a bath bead. These are filled with a washable paint that splatters upon impact.
