"Torin is the largest among the 3 islands of Kir. Mighty mountains covered the remainder of the island. From Torin came the Kings of Kir. Its chief landmark was the magnificent castle of the King, which also housed the King's well-trained and loyal army. Inside the battlements were many beautiful fountains, chiefly fed by the many underground rivers flowing beneath Kedar. One could also see many mighty trees towering to the sky in the design on the castle keep. The people of Torin were a race of tall and stately people, most of them standing well over six feet. They were fair-skinned, their hair ranging in color from the warm golden tones of pure honey to the white of newly-fallen snow ever so lightly kissed by the sun. The deepest blue eyes completed looks that could only be described as enchanting."
